I have a 98 Dodge 1500 Sport with 2WD. Should I just buy a new vehicle or is there anything I can do to stop myself from getting pulled and winched out of the mud pit everytime I go in?
Thanks for your time,
Caleb

1. tires are extremely important. you need good luggy mudgrips that roar like hell on the highway. street tires load up with mud and turn into slicks that won't dig. you need digging.
2. weight in the back is important. a half load of firewood or blocks, or sand makes a big difference - more digging.
3. you need both wheels pulling. this is an easy solution to the one-wheel-wonder.

Thanks for the encouragement to stick with the 2 WD. I just chopped up a full grown Pine Tree and I have some 100 IB Punching Bags laying around. Would it make a difference if I put two Mudd Tires in the back and left stock tires in the front? 2WD seems like it would still run fine and wouldnt make a difference.

the ones on the front are only for steering and looks.
it doens't really matter what the fronts look like or what size they are or whether they match the rears or not.
...so a couple of good mudgrips on the back, half a load of firewood, and you'll be amazed at how much farther you go before you get stuck.
