I'm not your boss, I'mjust a mentor for your business success!

I know this because all 1500 Rams up to 2003 with the 5.2, 5.9, and 4.7 engines only came with the Chrysler 9.25 rear. The newer 2500 HDs have dana 60 axles. The older 2500 Rams like mine (1994) are not HD and come with the dana 44 up front and the Chrysler 9.25 rear. The 8.25 rear is available primarily in v6 Dodges.

Now the new 2500 Rams come with an American Axle 9.25 front (not a Chrysler 9.25). The rear axle is an American Axle 10.5 or 11.5 depending on which engine they have.

Here is a great source for this type of info: http://www.dodgeram.org/tech/specs/Ramspecs.htm

You sure are a wealth of knowledge, Thanks again.

customer wanting a 04 2500 laramie w/hemi. We're gonna go for another
test drive, then hopefully he'll get it. He's interested in the Bypass
