RE: Tires
i have a 04 quad cab short bed with a set of285/70/17 Toyo Open Country AT's and have had them for almost a year and so far they have been a very good tire.
i cant even tell theyve worn down any! i highly recommend them and so far they have done very well in the snow and a lil bit of offroading!

pro comp xtreme at's... this pic they had about 52k on them... I'm up to about 55k now and they are still going strong. no balancing issues, good wear. the only problem I had on them was my toe was off causing cupping on the insides of the fronts. I fixed the toe at home and now they are evening out once again... nice even wear across the tread.

RE: Tires
you will be ok with a 33 or a 285/75/ r 16.... leveling it will just give you more room... i would reccomend it because it looks bettter and allows more room at a low cost..
