I have an 03 Ram 1500, QC, 5.7ltr Hemi with 2500 mile on it, and I am getting about 10.6 mpg (city).Is this standard gas milage? Has anyone experienced an increase after break in period?

 

I have about 6700 miles on mine and I average about 13.5-14 mpg in town. My highway mpg is around 17 if I keep it at or under 70 mph, and about 16 mpg driving75-80 mph.

 

I'm getting about 14 city, 17-19 hwy. Using amsoil too. Have you
weighed your right shoe lately. Could be your shoe, or a malfunction in
your foot<img src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">

I have a 2003 Hemi 1500 4x4 with off road package. Currently I average 8.5-9 mpg in town strictly, and average town and country around 10.5-11. I have been driving like a grandma and park in the garage so idle time is at a bare minimum. The best I have done so far on a tank of gas is 13.</P>

 

I have a03' 2500 Ram with the Hemi. After 2500 miles I still haven't gotten out of the single digits even driving like "Grandma" Brought the truck back to the dealer for computer updates and the mileage actually got worse!<IMG src=smileys/smiley7.gif border="0">
