Get the Nerf Bars and an Intake. The bars look good and save the door sills from become marked up. The intake is a necessity to replace the air coffin that comes stock.

Yeah this is the kind of info I'm looking for, I have already gotten the nerf bars (tubular OEMs), and the AIRAID filter withram air induction, the ram air hood is in the paint shop now, will be ready the begining of the week. I'll have pics shortly after. I say the bed cover would be a good MPGinvestment for sure!! The flush mount is real clean and sharp looking. That or a cat-back exhaust sytem isgonna be my next big purchase.

Consider gettingOEM bars - I feel the ram heads on them make them a bit nicer than the aftermarkets. and they are simple to put on - no holes to drill at all, they mount perfectly to the truck.

Just a fews thoughts from another newbie on the loose!! :-)

Probably just primer, but that is a guess. It's probably worth it to get the painted one.

If you are going to get a tonneau cover, may I suggest that you save a bit more money for a tonneau by A.R.E. ( http://www.4are.com/product/lsii/ ). It will cost more, but it will look a lot better. A.R.E. designs their tonneaus to match the general curve and shape of the rest of the truck. They are also painted with factory grade auto paint. Also, I have heard that these they have better gas prop arms, weather stripping, and security (better locks). I did a lot of research before I got a cover for my 04 Ram, and I couldn’t be happier with it.
I don’t have a picture of it yet, but I will shortly.

PS - I am new to the forum. Mine is an 04 Ram 1500 with the Hemi and 2 wheel drive. I'll be tinting the windows and adding cold air intake soon.
