I'll look in the AM, but it's too dark now, maybe I can see before you go to the dealer. Would look tonite, but that underhood light just isn't that bright!Keep your fingers crossed!<IMG src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0"> <edited><editID>Redhairedcwgirl</editID><editDate>38020.9081944444</editDate></edited>

I thought just about every single car/truck in America now comes with keyless entry. I know when I drove mine off the lot, they only game me one keyfob but two keys, so I went back and got another keyfob. And they just gave it to me. I didn't have to pay for anything. I would go to the dealer and say something. Also, it tells you in the manual that 4 keyfobs can be programmed on one car. It also tells you how to do it.

There was really noting to look at that I could tell that it was the receiver. I have a somewhat large box next to the battery with a part number on it, and another small black box that has a number and a ground on it. I would assume that small box is it. Sorry that I really didn't help.</P>

My husband's truck is a 2001 and has manual windows and locks. He wanted it that way, because he has this annoying habit of playing with the key fob, sooooo they don't all come like that!<IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">Unless, like our friend above, most have power everything now days.</P>

Another thought, you maight want to try this link and use the keyword search. You could then find the part number and look and see if it's there. You probably do have it, though.</P>

That's terrible! I tried to see if I could help ya, but if you ever need to find something out that's part related, (Especially atthe dealer)be prepared togive your VIN numberto them, at least the last 9 . If that's the dealer you got it from, they shouldbe able to lookup your options, etc.and possibly save you a trip down there. I guess you can chalk that one up to hindsight being 20/20! Good luck, hope you can get a receiver in and keyfobs programmed soon! Are you still considering one on eBay?'Cuz I clicked on the link Vader sent you and the auction's ended, but it said that that item or one similar had been relisted! <edited><editID>Redhairedcwgirl</editID><editDate>38021.4690046296</editDate></edited>
