I just looked at Dodgeparts .com, and they don't list your receiver, but I may not be using the correct terminology for it. I tried searching Keyless Entry and all I got was door latches! You can click on their contact us link or call them, it's 1-800-731-1022, 8:30-4:30 PST, and have your VIN ready and find out! And, also I would call that guy's boss and let him know that he treated you like that! I get that all the time, being a lady and all. If that doesn't work, call Chrysler!<edited><editID>Redhairedcwgirl</editID><editDate>38021.4837268519</editDate></edited>

Ok i have a small box on my drivers side but i dont know if this is the reciever or what becuase when i bought my truck it came with power locks and all that stuff but the saleman told me it didnt have keyless entry however i noticed i didnt get the original keys so i was wondering if somehow my truck could have keyless entry and i just need a remote (is the anyway to find this out?)
or
is there anyway to install a factory keyless entry system because i have had bad experiences with aftermarket keyless entry systems and i like the factory look of the recievers

According to my dealer..for the '02 Ram, the reciever is behind the guage cluster and it just plugs in. Of course, you have to have them program it with a BP112 (I think) programmer @ 1 hours labor ($82 here in Long Beach, Ca.) and yer good to go...$99 for parts and 1 hour labor= just under $200.

the one you aw will be all kinds of wiring and crap...If you have a DR(new body style) ram go to your local dodge dealership they can seel you the part..which clip right into the back of you instrument cluster...for like 160.00 don't quote me on the oprice...it takes about 30 minutes to install, it's factory, and not that badly priced...you will also have to by remotes which are like 30.00 a piece...trust me the money is worth the lesser hassel...oh yeah Im not justy shooting form the hip here I am a certified dodge technician.
