i gots a ram 4.7 with everything electric inside and im looking for the factory set up from mopar so i dont cut any wires, i found some on ebay, a bit pricey but nut'ns for free in life.............Yet

 

I just spoke with a dodge dealer they told me that my truck has the unit I just need a remote.$100 from them.

Vader was that all you needed or did you have to have a reciever?I bided on that one by the way.

 

Yep all you should need is the key fob as shown on the Ebay page above. Most american cars with electirc power locks have everything else built-in the only option is if they give you the key fob or not. Call your dealer to verify (they will be glad to sell you one for about $80.)

 

Meurich is right, thats all you need. I will try to find the directions so you can do the programming yourself. If this one goes too high, do a search and use buy it now to get one. There are many of them listed. If I remember, its a series of ignition positions and pressing the keyfob is the way you program, I will do some reasearch.

 

I call the dealer the service guy told me to come by it would give me a fob if I have the rest I will be good to go.Going by in the morning.

 

so what ur typing befor me, is if i gots all electric windows and locks in me new 2003 ram reg cab then all i need is a remote and im good to go...........please tell me thats all i need
