BTW there is a STB that the dealer can flash into the computer if you complain about the cruise not holding mph, rough idle, and/stalling when selecting reverse.

I had my 03 and my buddies 02 TCM's flashed with the STB. They shifted better and would hold mph better as well.

 

Instead of linking then, why not give the member who wrote the piece credit and where it came from and bring the info here... instead of sending traffic away from DF.

Hey guys, I have a 2003 hemi QC 4x4. I tried to find the 7th pin on the unit on my fenderwell. I finally found it, but it was not yellow with a dark green stripe, it was white with a dark green stripe. I figured it was the same as everyone elses so I cut it. Well it didn't do anything. Help me if you can. Thanks

 

You cut it? Don't cut, they should pull out... and for the color of the wire, you emailed me and I'm looking into it. All I can find is yellow with green stripe. Anyone else hear anything different?

I didn't actually purchase my truck, so I'm too scared to be pulling and cutting wires. Will the dealership do it for you?

 

I highly doubt it... I wouldn't even ask. LOL! If they now you messed with it, they may not touch it. It won't hurt it... but dealers are funny that way. I know that from working at them. LOL! DON'T CUT, just pull the wire out if you do it.

It's not the one on the fenderwell, it's on the FIREWALL.

 

Does anyone think that the reason that the "mod" doesn't work on the 04 is because the transmission is different? A guy I work with has an 03 w/a 5speed tranny and I have an 04 w/a 6speed tranny. Thoughts anyone?

 

I thought the tranny's were the same. I have a 5-45RFE, what do you have on your 04?
