Default Chrome 20's

Has anyone had any trouble with the stock 20's? Refering to the aluminumn edge chip / pealing, possibly becuase the winter weather? I talked with the dealer and he said that Dodge refused to warranty any wheels...it a fact of live, live with it. So I have 12K on my new truck and the wheels look like $h!t.

I had 10K on the Ram and went through 2 winters. I had no problems with peeling or chipping on my set.

Well guess you wouldn't be under warranty anymore. Anyone still under warranty and notice this? Also, does the service manager have the final say, or can you talk to dodge direct?

Call Dodge Customer Service and kick in the Doors. Thats a bunch of garbage the dealer is not doing anything about it with 12,000 miles. They need to replace them if they are peeling. There shouldn't be a question...Good luck

don't warranty because of the salt? then dont sell it and you need to make a customer sign a disclosure agreement stating he knows that its not under a bumper to bumper warranty....

a friend of mine slid sideways down a hill in some severe snow, and it ripped his wheels to s***....so he hand removed the coating, and had them repolished and cleared...

I have the 20 inch polished rims on my 03 Ram. There is pitting corrosion on the rims and when I pointed it out to the dealer they said it was due to me cleaning them with a corrosive cleaner. I only wash them with the same soap that I was the truck with. I contacted Dodge customer service and so far they have been running me around in circles. Any tips on getting them off their butts?
