Hi All,

Can anyone tell me what the dimensions of an '04 Quad Cab SWB are?..I've found 227.7 for length in their specs, but nothing about the width. I am considering a new ram, but need to make sure it fits in my garage.

According to the technical information sheets I have from Dodge, the box width is 79.6". The cab width is 79.9". Of course the mirrors extend past the cab, to a width of almost 96".

 

You might try dodge.com. They might have all the information you need on the specs sheet. Other than that, I really don't know.

 

Yeah bullitt1229, I looked there initially, it just listed the length, and some of the interior dimensions, I thought it was funny that they didn't list the cab width. Hopefully, mazz's width of appx 80" is right on, that means that it will fit in my garage.

Time to get out the old tape measure when you go to the dealer. Might play the "it's too big" and get a few $$ off the price hahaha. Even at stock height i cant get mine into the apt's garage. I guess I got a storage shed now!

 

Howdy you might try looking in the back of a Ram broucher it has all the dim listed outside and inside.Hope this helps ya out.

The Dodge site does list almost all the dimensions here {Sorry the link is not as direct as I'd have liked but it will get you there}. Interestingly though, overall width is not shown. Perhaps this is due to the choice of optional mirrors. I have an 04 QC 1500 HEMI 4x2 Laramie on order (due 3/15 WOOHOO!) with the towing mirrors. The salesman and I measured the max width with those mirrors extended and it was 109". Plenty to see around my 102" wide boat but definitely cannot enter my 106.5" garage door. Luckily the mirrors fold in.
