Will 17s from 2001 fit a 2003

Will 17s from 2001 fit a 2003
Looking to replace my 20s for the winters and offroading. I found a cheap set of 17 rims and tires off a 2001. Will they bolt on a 2003. Dealer seems to have no clue if they will or not. Any help is appriciated!

Are you saying that the 2001 17s will not fit? Or are you saying 17s in general will not fit. I was told 17 was as small as I could go due to the brake calipers on the 2003. Am I correct in that or will no 17 inch rims fit...I belive it comes with 17s does it not. Thank you for the reply!!

But does anybody know if anything changes in the 17 sizing from 2001-2003? The rims are being sold by an individual and I would hate to purchase the rims just to find out that the 2001 will not bolt on my 2003. Thanks for the help guys!

The bolt pattern is the same. However, I believe the stud diameter on the older rams is 1/2", while the stud diameter on the Gen III Rams is 9/16".
