Hello,
I am sorry, I thought I got you that information already. Anyway part number 36857 is a seperate ram air scoop that is available and attaches to the Volant intake part number (16859). Here are some pictures showing what I am talking about.
Volant intake kit (16859) $229.95
Ram Air scoop (36857) $125.00
Total $354.95 plus shipping (depending on zip code)
Kit with scoop installed

If you look at the factory piping on the HEMI rams you will see they are plenty big. I would only replace the filter in the stock air box with a K&N. That would be the biggest gain you would see. I am going to measure the throttle body in the near future and see how big it is compared to the piping that attaches to it. I think the stock system is more then fine for a stock motor.
Also BEWARE about the intakes on ebay. I bought one for my truck and it was only 3 inch piping. I could fit the tube into the stock intake. It also didn't fit right and the breather hose fitting wasn't the right size.

About the cheaper intakes on ebay.....I have some experience with them for an Import. I had the AEM CAI on my '96 Eclipse and my buddy had one of the cheaper no name brands off of ebay (also on a '96 eclipse). We took em' to the dyno and for the extra $100+ i paid it wasnt worth it. The AEM added about 13hp and the ebay model added around 11hp. In my opinion for 2 extra HP i wouldnt spend the money. One other option one might have is to get the cheaper intake at ebay and make your own heat shield. Just looking at what the job would involve, i dont believe that it would be too hard to do. Coming up with new ideas and putting them into use is part of the fun. If it doesn't help out atleast you can tell everyone that you made it yourself and had hella fun doin it!

I personally would like to design one 4+ inchs that matched the throttle body exactly. Wrap it in some heat insulating foam and foil. Also putting the air filter more into the fender. I think that would make some good power.Take a look at this intake! If I had the money it would be the one I would buy.
