frikkin seat belt chime HELP !

i have an 04 hemi
there is an instruction in the manual to turn it off but it doenst work, the factory disable the turn off sequence (i checked with the dealer AND chrysler customer service)
the customer service rep at chrysler however did say the tech told him that it is simple a wire that need unplugged or cut under the sterring wheel
can anybody help ?
also what other forums are there for dodge, would like to try those too

In the past with other vehicles I would simply unplug the buzzer/chime.
Usually it was mounted on the floorboard/firewall.
Open the door, track down the chime and unplug it.
I don't know if Dodge does the same thing or not, but it is worht a try.

however the function has been disabled for the 04
re pluggin in the middle seatbelt that doesnt work for me as i like to use my belt most of the time
spoke to customer service and the techs told me that you cut or unplug a wire under the steering column and that its easy, let me know pls if anyone does it before me
if i do it first will certainly post which wire to cut/unplug
damn bell , i wear the neighbors dog is talking to me, in latin no less and he wants me to do bad bad things

Are you sure? My manual say's it can be done, but I haven't tried and the manual does say 2004 Dodge Ram
