Default Remove Door Panel

I'm looking at putting some tint on the side windows of my 03 Reg cab because I'm tired of getting sun sick. My question is how do I remove the panels with out breaking anything. Its got the power mirrors, locks and windows as well.

not sure on the 03's but the 2nd gen just had two screws and a bunch of clips.

As for the tint...on the 3rd gens there is a wheel in the door that rubs on the glass when its being put up or down. You have to cover that with felt or else it will scratch the heck out of your tint!!

I don't think its the same on the 04's. I've had my tint for four months now and they are still perfect.

On the 02-04 model trucks, all you have to do is take 2 screws out of the bottom of the panel, 1screw from behind the door handle, 1 screw from the top where the infinity badge is or goes, and remove the door handle. I believe the door handle requires a 10 or 12 mm socket. After all that is removed lift up on the panel and it should come right off. After you have the panel off, remove the plugs for the door lock and power window switch and you can take the panel away. Hope this info helps.

The front door has a screw in the sail and two screws in the bottom.

The screw for the door handle is a torx size 30.

My 02 did not have any clips, more like hooks.

The back doors just have the 2 crews in the bottom and the door handle screw.

Remove screws lift panel up and out.
