Default Sub question.

I am thinking about putting 2 subs in my 1998 Ram 1500 quad cab. I am going to make my own enclosures, but I don't know what subs to buy. I want to get something like 8" and I was looking at the 8W3v2. This sub is RMS 125 watts. The sound I want is more bass than I have now but I don't want to make it so loud that I go deaf. So pretty much, a good, moderately loud bass. I really don't have much experience with subs, but if I got two 125 watt subs. Will this be loud or sort of soft. Or would a 75 watt sub be good.

Default RE: Sub question.

i'd get 2 10's or 2 12's ....
you can buy or make a custom under the rear seat box...
i got 2 mtx 12 6000 they boom!! but, all you have to do it turn
down the bass(or amp) a little bit, and it sounds fine not tooooo much bass...
.............
ps i gotta box that is custom made for that truck, well for a 94-01 old body style ram.
ext cab of course............they go for over a 100 AT EBAY. $50 + shipping takes it....
never installed, but it is cut out already w/ spacer plates for 2 12inch subs.....
