hi there i was wandering if anyone knew where to find info on how to remove doors panles on a 97 dodge ram 1500 ext cab with power doors and locks thx

 

are you talking about the interior door panels?

 

yes i want to remove them cause somethigns wrong witht them and i want to to remove them soo i can try and fix them

 

There are two screws in the door handle and one up by the mirror. Once you get those out, you have to go and get behind one of the corners and pop out the plastic pop rivets. A flat wire stripper or needle nose work well. Once you get them all to pop out, you push the door up words and around the handle and it comes right off. You can then disconnect the wire harness out of the power window and lock switches.

No problem, anytime, I have taken the pannels off my '96, and '01 many times, I might even be able to do it in my sleep. Good luck.
