Dents and scratches

Dents and scratches
I've been having a lot of problems with people banging their doors, bumping into my front bumper and scratching the hell out of my paint job. What do you all do out there to take care of these little scratches and dings?? Cause I got an estimate to fix my driver's side door and it was nearly $500 because they had to paint the rear door on the same side as well. Is there an easier way to fix little dings and scratches than to leave it at a dealership for a week to get a whole two doors repainted??

I just park my Ram as far out in the parking lot as I can bear to walk, and I still have scuffs, one small dent and a cracked V8 Magnum embelm from a shopping cart.
Whatever you do, do NOT try to fix these scuffs with touch-up paint.
You will not like it!

I had a buddy that would carry a ball peen hammer under his seat. Every time he parked he would note the cars around him and if he could pinpoint one that caused him a ding he would retaliate with his hammer. We started calling him Maxwells Silver Hammer. Good thing he was a big boy 6'8 270 lbs I saw a guy come at him with a tire iron. He barely walked away.....

Vader,
I really can't prove it has 360 hp to it, I'm just going by the factory specs. on what the 5.9L claims to put out. I've only had my Ram for about 6 months now and am kinda new to the Dodge world at large. What does an engine like mine really top out at if 360 is too high?? Any info will enlighten me even more.

Your engine is 360 cubic inches and puts down about 245HP. When transferred to the rear wheels, you lose about 20%. If you have a QC you have about 180HP to the rear wheels. I thought you had a Supercharger.
HEMI's put out 345 HP at the Crank and about 275-280 to the Rear Wheels.
Hope this helps.

The 5.9L Ram was rated at 245 hp., 335 ft. lbs. of torque at 3200 rpm's. I think the confusion may have came from the fact that the engine size is 360 cubic inches.
As you probably know, the 02 Ram was the last one that the "good ole" 5.9 was available in, being replaced by our beloved Hemi.

Thanks for all the info...didn't know any of that stuff. I like the 5.9 that I got in there, but would like the HEMI for the efficiency that it has. But then again, I can't complain about the deal I got on it (fully loaded) compared to the '03 HEMI that I could have bought for dealer cost (plain jane).
So no one else has any thing about what I can do for the little dents and scratches?? Does the paintless dent removal work at those auto collision shops??
