Default M1 intake ok for CA truck?

Does anyone know if the M1 intake is considered a replacement part therefore ok for smog in California?

Not sure if you can get an OE exemption but I can tell you from my experience if it LOOKS oe and everything else checks out most smog guys won't bother with it. I'll check in the morning on CARB exemption though. I need to know anyways as I'm getting ready to drop in a 380 Magnum in the wifes 'rango and wanted to run the M1 on it.

OK-not approved for use on CA highway use vehicle. BUT I probably wouldn't bother with it if I were smogging it. Just find a friendly smog tech.
