Use Goop to get the left-over adhesive off, works the best.

I Re-Badged Mine (no updated pic Yet) I used a Hair Dryer W/ Plastic Putty Scraper And Goop. Only takes Seconds For The removal But the residue takes some time And patience . However it does a good job without marring the paint finish

2 pieces of dental floss and a hair dryer works.... heat gun is better but a hair dry does the job.

I work at the LX plant. Any addhesive in my area, including badges or stickers comes off real easy with isopropyl alcohol, which is rubbing alcohol. Of course anything I have to get off is fresh. What you guys are talking about has been on for a while, so I'm not sure how good it would work for you.
