can i fit a 36 tire on a 97 ram sport with out a lift ? i searched the fourm but didn't find anything . reason i'm asking is because i can get a reall good deal on them from my friend.

 

I take it is a 4x4 and IMO I dont think they would fit... but that is just me guessing.

 

I doubt it bro... I ran 35" on a Stock no lift 97 Ram 2500 and I had some serious rubbing. This is an HD 2500 with the 3" rear leafs.. I finally broke down and picked up a set of Superlift 2.5" front lift coils only set you back 200 bones. No more rubbing now!!!

 

thanks for the info .... geuss ill be looking into a lift ... any one know of a pretty good lift kit that will not break my pocket book to bad ?

 

You can pick up a set of Coil Spring Spacers off Ebay for under 100 bucks. That will take care of the front. This will net you a couple inches, If you need more you will need to go with springs.. Superlift has nice Springs, but if you go higher than 2.5 inches you'll want to use the "Kit" as it will come with brackets longer shocks etc.
