Even if you couldnt afford a new ram (which it sounds like you can) I think it would be better to save for a few more months and go with the bigger, newer truck. All good advice above.

 

You should get the 2001. I like the older body style a lot better than the new one.

 

You can get a brand new truck from 18 grand, I just got a 2004 hemi ram for 22 in houston, TX. While I was there another guy got a New ram with the smaller V 8 for 18500. And you can get a hell of a lot better interest rate.

 

here are the pics of my 04 hemi for $23,000. all the options anything you can think of. the factory srt-10 hood did not come with it. it was an extra 800 or so. but everything else was.
