I've got a 04 hemi ram and didn't have a whole lot of extra cash when I bought it so I just had some flowmasters welded in. Well, they are too quiet especially since I was used to the magnapacks of my mustang GT. How nice does the Gibson super truck catback sound? Any sound clips on a hemi ram?

Someone on this site has the gibson, and they are really happy with it, and yes they have sound clips, they will come on sooner or later in the next day or two and probably post a link. I have heard it, and it does sound good. I have the file on my comp... but I cant post it, too big.

Anyways, good luck. Thats wierd that the flowmasters are quiet though...

Another reminder is that when your on forums of this size, chances are, someones already asked your questions, especially when it comes to an aftermarket part for a new truck, if you search for gibson exhaust, you will find some other threads with it being discussed.

Can't wait for the sound clip... Is this the best sounding gibson exhaust? Anything else that is better than the gibson super truck?

 

Ive got the Gibson Exhaust and my friend who also has an 03 hemi has the flowmaster. I love the gibson but as far as what you are looking for go with the flow's because his is definitely a whooole lot louder.

 

I definitely want the louder exhaust so I guess I'll order the super truck exhaust. I hope it sounds/looks sweet .

 

The supertruck exhaust sounds good and is loud, but not too loud. They will definitely hear you coming though.[sm=smiley20.gif]

 

Where is the best place to order the gibson super truck exhaust? I read on the faq that in the interior the exhaust sound is only 7-8 decibels. I sure hope I can hear the beast with the windows down while I am cruising .

 

JC Whitney sells Gibson and a number of other systems at great prices.
They even have another side pipe system like the Gibson supertruck that's cheaper.

 

I went to my local exhaust shop and got mine custome made for only $245 including labor to install. I used a 50 series and 2 3.5" chrome slash cut tips turned on their sides.
