Default 95 FLAIMED Headliner

Here is one of my more aggravating mods!

Took three tries to get it right.
Looks great and has been in the truck now for almost two years.

If any want more pic's I have them, can't post anything larger tham 250K though.......

How I did it:
If your gonna attempt it this is what I used:
Wire wheel for my cordless drill to remove old foam from headliner board.
1" foam for flames: I laid it on bord and drew the design and then cut out.
Glued the flames down first.
Then applied the headliner material that I bought from a local fabric shop (Foam backed headliner fabric)
I used grey rather than the factory tan/cream color.
Make sure you get the right glue, I used the wrong stuff the first time. Hence bad first try.
Looked awsome, came out the next morning and the headliner was on the floor.........THAT SUCKED!!!
I bought the right stuff at ADVANCED AUTO PARTS (3M spray adesive), you will need at least 4 cans.
Should only take about two hours to do? I also recovered the visors.
Get a good FABRIC GLUE for the visors, I used the old material for the patern.
No sewing required, as the factory does the same thing.
Lastly I painted the "Oh **** Handle"(Grey vinyl paint), coat hook, and console to match.
ALL I CAN SAY IS HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!

That is awesome..... I did that on a trans am, so did my buddy Dan, we made a
"how to" on his website. I will get the link later and post it, for one, it will give everyone an idea of how to do it, and two, it might give you some ideas. I would like to hear how you did it, just for some different ideas.
