Default SRT RAM Automatic conversion

I want to convert my 2004 srt ram to automatic...doeas anyoen know what would be involved if not can someone refer me to someone? I was thinking of two solutions either a 48re from the diesel or possibly a direct bolt on if the v10 auto of the past has the same block as the viper motor...any input is appreciated (no flames about converting to automatic please)

For 2005 the QC SRT Ram comes with auto, see what they are using.

I would just trade for a QC SRT-10 and save the hassle. I prefer quad cab anyway. My .02.

Never heard of a 48RE, is that a new transmission, the diesels and V10 always ran a 47RE. A 47RE should bolt up, getting it shift correctly without a PCM is gonna be tough though.
