My dad just traded in his 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd for a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd with a Hemi. Im so excited, its awesome. We are putting dual exhaust on it, window visors, bed cover, and probably taillight covers. Its Flame Red, oh yea.

Pics when you get em, sounds like a sweet deal. I'm already thinking of my next Ram and I just got mine 7 months ago

Yea, it was a pretty nice deal. The fun part will be finding all the stuff to put on it.

Right now, we have Flowmaster dual exhaust on it, gonna lower it, get window visors for it, its tinted, were about ready to get a bed cover on it, were gonna try to put the GTX strip on it, but instead of it saying "GTX" we want it to say "HEMI", and were gonna get the Hemi badge like on the front fenders, on the back below where it says SLT, we might get seat covers too. I know thats a lot of stuff, but it will look good, what do u all think we should do to it?? Could i please have suggestions or comments? And dont be afraid to reply please, thanks.

First thing I would do is ditch the SLT and DODGE badges. I like the RAM1500 badges on the doors though. Secondly I would get some vertical stripes down the rear end. I am not much on the whole lowering thing. I would get some custom 20-22" wheels.

I like the idea of geting rid of the badges, it would give it more of a smooth, streamline look. Are there anymore opinions or comments????

ive got an '02 ... and i am looking to go down to idaho to get a new one, prices are much better down there than up here in alaska.

If you guys have any price comparisons from your area.

RAM 1500 Laramie loaded is up to about 35-36,000 Alaska Prices

Ram 1500 Laramie loaded is up to about 30,000 Idaho prices

AND for a final note... my favorite bed covering is the "Low Rider" brand Tuneau cover.

Are you putting on a hard cover or a soft cover? I've got a hard cover on mine and I love it. Here are some pictures of it
