would be better if you extended the intake out more to get away from the heat of the engine.... looks good though... just try to extend it more towards teh fenders...

I guess that would depend on whether he has a functional or non functional ram air hood on that thing, I can't tell from pic. It it is a forced induction hood then its placement is perfect, however if it aint, it may end up doing more harm than good.

looks cool. Your truck looks like my truck.... Do you know how many black 4x4 models were made? Have you thought about making the hood scoop functional? That would probably be the most practical alteration.

The srt hood is on the way.
I have been running around Phoenix here at 110 degrees and it seems to be staying strong. I think it is a little better than stock. I tried the air ram first and lost power. I thought the shorter trip from filter to engine would help. I will be taking it to the track next Wednesday.
