RE: 4" or 6" lift
if you got the cash to do it you should just get the 6inch lift...
becuase ya know right after you lift it, your gonna want it lifted more... : )
but i don't know what kinda prices your going to be looking at,
diesel's are a totally, nasty, different world. ha!
I saved myself about 600-800 dollars by piecing together my own custom kit.
but then again, i only have the 1500 5.9 v8... try looking on ebay for front coils, and look on www.truckn.com for rear leaf springs, i gotta hella deal for 2 new rear +4inch rear leaf springs for $150, plus a pitman arm for $75, shipping was $100 too, it was 173lbs from Arizona or something... shopping around helps.

RE: 4" or 6" lift
My .02 I am running 35's (315/75/16) on my truck and all I did was level out the fron end depending on what 35" tires you are wanting to run depends on the lift if your wanting some 35X17X16 then you are going to need the larger lift a girl where I live has the 6" with 35's on it she can run bigger tires but the 35's dont look bad. The 315/75/16 on my truck dont rub and the fit in the wheelwell great not to big and not to small. Either lift will work but in my opnion I would go ahead and get the 6" because the $$$ differance is not that much and if you want to run 38's you can. Although 38's will be a little tight but they will fit. I hope this helps you out a little

If you really know you only want to go 35's go with the 4". I want to go with 35's and I am going 3". I don't see myself wanting to go bigger then that. I think it would look too big for the tires with a 6". Just my .02 cents though.
