I'm new to this site but damn glad i found it. anyways i have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500, Quad Cab, with a 5.9L Magnum engine. I want to fully customize it and get lots of hp and torque. I was wondering if anyone had any usefull websites, places to get parts, what i should buy, stuff that like. I would really appreciate it. If anyone out there works somewhere close to St Louis that could install most of it for a fair price that would greatly help out as well.

I love Mopar Performance... Highly recommend it actually!! I'm the only person I know with a Mopar Performance Cat Back Exhaust and everyone LOVES the sound!! I have a few other Mopar Performance parts... not yet installed.

thats guys (and girls <IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">), all that is really usefull. bbut now i need to know what i should do to it. i wanna make it fast, lots of hp, and have great accelleration. 2 of my friends have cavilers that they think that have "riced up" and even though my truck could already take them, stock, theres some other pretty fast cars around here and i wanna have the fastest, most kick *** looking vehicle in town.

 

2 words, Forced Induction

 

if an engine swap is out of the question, start with the basics. Headers, exhaust, intake, then go farther into engine mods.

 

research all the parts you can first and then come up with a plan of attack. It is much easier ( and cheaper) to do the research first and get the max amount of power the first time than having to constantly change parts because one didnt work well with the other and youve got to find the one that does

 

what about a power programmer, change the air/fuel mixture and some other stuff. exhaust, intake, headers, supercharger -oh yeah, cowl hood, lower it a little. any more I can spend money all day just one problem I need some.
