Just rebuilt a 5.2L 318 we had it bored .30 over, ported the heads and a Comp Cam. The motor is now back in the truck ('94 1500 4wd) and we can't get it to stay running. We started at TDC and it will start and idle fine, but when you raise the RPM's up to oh about 1500 - 2500 then let off the gas it spudders and dies. I also tried to advance and retard the timing by moving the distribitor, but it gets worse either way. Is there any timing adjustment or does the PCM control the timing and what can be done about this. Please help I've been battlin this for 3 days.

The codes also read no signal at camshaft sensor.
