Default Transmission question.

Ok, here is my problem. I have a 2001 Ram 1500. It is 2wd with a 5 speed manual. I NEED to add some transmission oil but cannot figure out what size tool I need to take out the drain plug. Any advice on this would be appreciated.

I am alos looking to put some taller tires on my truck. It is still stock hight with no suspension work. What size tires can I go to before I have to start worring about rubbing and such?

Thanks in advance for the help. Great forum!

drag over a bunch of sockets that look close and start test fitting. if its a square recessed type, then it is a 3/8 drive. just put the wratchet in there and pull counter clockwise.
