How does Dodge support their claim that the Ram is the "Longest Lasting"
I'm talking about the new commercials featuring the Rock'Em Sock Em Robot punching the truck.
Of course I'm a loyal Dodge owner but I've never heard anyone say Dodge was the longest lasting.

 

Think its based on R.L Polk pickup truck registrations from 1987-2000.

 

I have had my Ram since Sept of 94'. I run it like a diesel should be run. You add, you enhance, you beef up here and there, but....... it's still my 95' beater.......lol.



And no disrespect to you or anyone else on this board, ........BUT:


Give me a tow strap...... and I will embarass the livin' **** out of you.


That's just how my girl plays. Give her a little attention, and she gives it back 10 fold.

Sold my '86 318 Auto 4x4 with 370,000kms on it 4 years ago. It is still running, and, contrary to brand X belief, the body is not falling off of it. It has less rust on it than 10 Chevs of the same vintage.

 

Longest lasting really depends on us owners talking good care of our trucks. Us dodge guys are a special breed that buy dodge trucks because their tough and they work and play hard. At the end of the day though, its how we truck guys take care of our babies that determines how "long lastinging" they are.
