Anyone tried any of thoer stuff on the Hemi or other engine? I'm curious if it's worth the money. Thanks for the input.

 

Whats a MIT?

 

Modular Intake Tube. It's an replacement for the intermediate tube that goes from the stock airbox to the TB bonet on the Hemi.

 

what is the difference between this an a CAI?

hmm...how can that tube be any different from another tube?

 

Go pop a hood on one of the Hemis and look at the intermediate tube just downstream from the air box. It's one of those flex deals and has a significant bend in it. I can see where this MIT might provide a little in the mid and upper rpm range. I think I may order one today, along with the 16 outlet, maxwellhouse exhaust tips from eBay.

 

hey i put the airaid jr kit on my 04 hemi, and have noticed a bid difference in acceleration. i also have a raven 55 class muffler with the sport truck exhaust. i would recomend it to you guys the jr kit was $150.00 at truckperformance.com
