I have to wash down my engine also. Its dirty as hell. Anyone else's motor get dirty ofthen. I think it has to do with the huge mouth/grill........

i just use whatever theyve got as an engine cleaner on the dial at the local carwash. rinse it every other time i wash the truck, or every time in the winter. all nice black plastic gets turtle wax wet and black tire spray on it, it lasts at least a week.
