Just wanted to see what octane everyone puts into their Hemi's.

 

I tried the 91, but didn't see a difference in the mileage, or feel a noticable difference in the performance. When we finally get a controller for the 04, I'll run it then.

 

I just put a tank of 91 in and the seat of my pants'o'meter seems to notice a difference. More responsive on the pedal. Can't wait for the controller too. Think I am gonna go for the hypertech.

 

I constantly run on 87. Though, I feel it is good once in a while to either run a few full tanks with the better premium gas to help clean out the lines or add a good fuel cleaner to your system now and then. Hemi was designed for 87...so I stick with what THEY know

Mike. You may want to look at your owners manual again, they recommend 89, but can be run on 87.

 

I don't have a hemi (5.9L), but mine always gets the 91 & for the 1st time this weekend, got a boost of 100...

 

89 cuz that's what the book says.

 

I run the 87 but that's just because I can't find any 89 around here.
