2004 - 3/4 ton Power Steering Vibration moving or not moving
Hi !
I would like to know if anybody had the same problem before:
- When driven for the first time in the day, I can feel a VIBRATION THROUGH THE STEERING WHEEL as I turn the wheels to the left (doesn't look like it does it to the right).
- The truck can be MOVING OR NOT MOVING it does not make a difference.
- It looks like it's coming from the power steering system but does not make it after this ... till the next cold start.
- It only makes it on a "section" of the turning.
- It started doing this after approximately 6 months.
- I cannot see any trace of leaks anywhere.
Any idea ?
Thank you.

Also,
I just looked at the power steering reservoir and something looks weird to me: the opening in the reservoir is approx. 1.5" dia. and on the top of the stick, there is a O-ring that is approx 0.5" dia. O-rings are supposed to be there to seal something, but I did not see anything that restricted the reservoir opening dia from 1.5" to .5"... so it does not touch anything ...
