Default ENGINE HELP NOW

alright... i just recently bought a 91rt twin turbo.. i went to get the oil changed and after that a clanking in the engine started... i had a mechanic from work come by and he said something about a bad rod... apprently the person that owned the car before me put in some 90w gear oil so the clanking noise wouldnt happen...... what are some option i could do to fix this with out spending to much money

Lmfao thats horrible but thats pretty much what happened to him... u can get a new moter for pretty cheap cant u (3000$?)

There is really no "cheap" way to fix a spun bearing...except to replace the bearing and pray.
