You will need the axles from the 94 in order for that transmission to work in your car.

I also have a 92 dodge stealth ES and it has battery drain issues. Checking with a voltometer and the number of amps (its drawing 5.3 amps) while the car is off. I have unplugged all the fuses and relays i can find so far and no luck in reducing the amps. I also unplugged the alternator and starter (disconnecting starter dropped 0.9 amps), but again no luck. Also disconnected circuits and light bulbs for trunk lights, door lights, hood lights. Still no luck. Any ideas on what is drawing the battery down?

have you tried getting your alternator tested?

No, not yet, but I don't think that's really the problem since the car seems to run just fine when the battery is charged up.

You can put a screw driver (or another metal object) next to the alternator and see if it pulls the screwdriver to itself. This works on older cars so I owuld imagine it will work on newer cars.

actually it was the TCU. I got a new one and everything was perfect for about 8 months. high rpms between 2nd and third after a while, then back into limp mode. I got it working again, i KNEW it was the caps, and all of a sudden it drained the battery overnight and now i replaced the caps but still nothing. I am about done with this piece of junk car. I will never buy anything from mitsubishi or dodge ever again. what crappy workmanship!

Are you talking caps in the Ecu or tcu? And who did them? Most people fail to do them correctly. We frequently have to go back and fix shoddy cap jobs other people did not do correctly
