Sorry, Kelly Blue Book doesn't list used engines separately. This is pretty much a personal judgement thing. Compare to the prices of new or rebuilt blocks and make a judgement call. Your engine is almost due for the 60k maintenance again which will cost the new owner some.

are you going to do anything with it? what's it worth to you? do you need the money? those are things i would ask myself if i were in your position, i personally say dump it, unless you yourself need it for something later. if you have someone with cash in hand, it's always better than a wet dream for some punk later that "hasn't gotten all the money yet"

Yup, you say the word cash and its sold lol. and i dont think i will be needing it, the car i have thats good has 106k miles on it and runs pretty good, only thing is it has loud lifters witch is no bid deal to me. the trans on the parts car im taking and putting in the good one, and everything else i dont think i would be needing. i guess what im asking is, is a short block with 116k worth more then $350 or is that about right?

Yes that is a good price for a short block. I've bought whole engines for $350.
