Spudsterier i didnt mean any harm just saying you cant compare them ...and be fair to em is all so sorry if i came off mad or anything cuz that wasnt the case. Formula 21 the neon will lose...happy? The stealth has torque....the four banger neon doesnt....that simple. I dont care if they are close in horse and the neon is lighter....low end torque will get the stealth up to speed alot quicker. The neons top end will probably be better but it wont matter by the time they are up and going. The only reason why i second guessed myself is i thought that if the stealth launched bad it could lose...but then again alot of races are like that. I didnt say the stealth would smoke it.

 

Yeah my sis had a 2nd gen and we messed around, and idc how its put, by dodge a srt4 isnt a neon but its still a neon. and sti has 300hp cause they have more then just a single turbo, they have quiet a few bit of performance upgrades, if you look at the vr4 and rt tt they just got 2 turbos, no major performance upgrades. and its 320hp, not 300. the 6g72 and 6g74 are capable of having more power then they came stock with.

 

The neons and stealth arnt that slow. And i would say that a neon rt would easily beat a soch like walk away from it. 1995 Dodge Neon Sport Coupe 8.0 0 to 60 time and16.2 1/4 mile time. Thats pretty good considering my friends mason's base model stealth with the automatic tranny only runs a 18.5 on a good day and his brothers base model with a stick only runs 17.6's. Now against even a doch automatic like mine it would lose cuz with my broken tranny that only hade 1,2, then shifted to 4th gear rean 16.2 now with my new tranny im running 15.5 in my stock form haha until i get my parts put on

 

if hes getting 18.5 sohc auto then something is wrong with it, I was getting about 17.7-8 on my sohc at auto, now im getting high 15's with very little mods done to it. on a straight line auto kills, manuals are good for tracks and highway use. everytime im at a track and see 7second cars their all auto's, only manuals I see are the funny cars, and stupid ricers.

 

my neon ran 15.5 with only an under drive pullies so if t4dude is running a 15.5 with his dohc i would say i would beat the sohc even with its massive low end torque and my neon cut better 60ft the my formula firebird and that has 325 ft-lb

your neon with only a underdrive pully would not beat a car with 325tq, I been in firebirds those ****ers will go, neon gotta be like what 20second stock car?

 

His neon ran a 15.5 dude-that would beat your stealth...and he only had pulleys for mods.
