Trying to figure out what tires are best to put on my stratus? What is everyone else running. I really don't want to change rims--My tires are the 206/60 -16 Eagle LS's on my 05 SXT sedan. They aren't bad-but I'm sure there are better tires out there for this car

Like Nate said to depends on every ones preference, I also keep your climate in mind when selecting tires.

I run Dunlop Signatures on my '99 Intrepid and really like them. That said, the Goodyear Assurance Comfortred is a solid 70K tire with good all-season traction. I opted for the Dunlops over the GY's based on appearence.

Got Firestone Firehawks on my Aspen and traction is good, also pretty quiet, but they do ride more lile truck tires. It ain't the car, B/C I've gone through the suspension and it's got new KYB shocks all the way around.

I live in CO, and snow is a consideration always. If you live in a warmer climate, the Dunlop Signature SP sport might be a better option than the standard Signature.

 

I probably should have rephrased how I started this topic---I was hoping people would see this like the topic about "how many miles on your car" kinda thing-my bad-lol. I hope this draws a few more posts.

 

I have Falken Ziex 512's on mine.

 

I have Falken Ziex 912's on my Stratus. It depends what kind of driving you do honestly...

 

I decided to go with the Bridgestone G 009's. Tire Rack seems to have good reviews about them.

 

That's what I had on my car....and they were WELL worth the money I paid for them...

V rated tires, great in most weather, and fairly inexpensive.

I got new 17" rims, tires, and they were delivered for $752.

Now their discontinued, they made the newer version of the 512's into a 912 IIRC the numbers.
