1995 STRATUS SCANTOOL HELP PLEASE
hello. I drive a 1995 Stratus 2.4 and am having a very hard time locating any kind of aftermarket scantool or pc based software to diag my mil. (apparently, the 1995 model uses an OBD II connector, but is not OBD II compliant.) all aftermktOBDII scanners simply say that theycan't connect. I don't have the funds to aquire a DRBII OR DRBIII from dodge, but am willing to spend around 200 or so for a scantool or laptop software/hardware that will interface with my model. has anyone out there heard of anything that will work for this worthless in-be-tweeny-weenie model?

RE: 1995 STRATUS SCANTOOL HELP PLEASE
No. the local dealer wants $150 to diag my check engine. I have always done all my own repairs, including engine machining and building, transmission overhauls, GM eprom burning/tweaking, Caddy-Fiero engine swaps, etc. etc. I just happen to work at a Toyota / Ford dealership and don't have access to the DRB scanner. I really wouldn't benefit from a one time diag as my car has multiple issues and they are intermittent.
Flashing the mil gets me a code 11, 21, 25. I am looking for a way to hookup to the data stream and see what my O2, tps, iac, etc are reading in real time.I need software or a scantool that works with my one-year-only model.

Actron CP9185/9190 is the answer!
I have the same as you and faced the same situation. OBD I compliant with an OBD II plug. Actron makes a scantool that will connect to, and read, these cars. If you purchase it from Actron, it will run you around $700. If you look on eBay, you can find them for a little over $200, brand new. That's what I did. Best money I ever spent. You will need their CP 9185 or CP 9190 models to read your car.

on them fj bodies the gots 2 connectors one obd2 and one mitsu rite next to each other and yall needs some special double pig tail to connect scanners to both. i got a genisis scanner and it came with that connector but this info is useless cuz status aint mistu/chrys cross breed. but my genisis does work on the 95 stratus and its obd2 just like the neons wich is the first ever us car with obd2 in 1994
