rim specs
Does anyone know the specs of their r/t rims? I am trying to put on my new rims but i have to buy the new tires and they are 215/50/17 but the rims i have are 17x7s with about 6" of back spacing and about 25 mm of offsetting. The rims fit on because i had the wrong tire sizes on (215/45/17) They didnt look correct for my car so idk it the new ones will rub against the struts
I just found that also and i found to quite strange that the offset of the r/t rims and the se rims are the same (46mm)

No we're talking Coupes. Coupe bolt pattern= 5x114.3 Sedan bolt pattern- 5x100.
Not to hijack, but can I just put on any 5-4 1/2 wheels/rims on an 01 r/t coupe? I did the tire calculator at www.1010tires.com and the 205/60/16 will fit nice and that is a very common high production tire. This is my unemployed 19 year olds car and I am not paying for big bling.
The original alloy oem 17 inch wheels were bent bad when she got the car. Could not be balanced. I got some steel 16 wheels and my buddy had some take offs 205/60/16 toyos for $80 set last year from an accord. Those tires have about 1000 miles left on them after one final rotation. They are non directional. I will never buy directional tires again if non directionals are avail because of rotating limits. Now I might get her some nice used 16 wheels from a boneyard or craigslist. But I found out the the sebrings and other convertibles with the chrysler usa motor have a metric lug pattern while the hardtop coupes with the mitsu jap motor have the sae bolt pattern on the lugs.
Any thoughts?
