I saw some 5w-30 RP at a Wal-Mart locally, but it was just too much for my taste. I hear those ester based oils aren't really recommended for normal driving and are for racing applications.

...but my tranny is starting to give me warning signs so I'm needing to focus on that next. The Haynes manual doesn't recommend a flush, but I'm probably going to try something like SeaFoam TransTune before a filter/fluid change to see if that helps. I just changed that 20,000 miles ago, though it was probably for the first time someone has done that for the car.

Oh, speaking of taking apart oil filters. I saw some research on my friends fit forums website comparing a Mobil1 oil filter and a Honda oil filter after 5,000+ miles. It was sick, the Mobil1 was in much better shape and just looked new and filled with dirty oil. The Honda filter was holding on by a thread. Of course, this doesn't matter if you're doing 3,000 mile changes, but if you push beyond that careful with those paper filters.
