Im suspecting I have a bad inner Tie Rod on my girls 2002 stratus 2.4l sedan. Has anyone used the "special tool" to remove them without removing the rack? Any help will greatly be appreciated!!!!

howd yall figgure out that the inners are bad, dont see many go bad on these units. them old escorts/tempos were allways bad and ya i used a speical inner tierod tool. worked really good. the way it test inner rods is to put my knees agains the tire and grab around the back of the tire then rock it back and forth. if i feel knocken loose then i use one hand to feel outer tireod if shes tight then its the inner
