Default 2004 stratus rt will not start.

Hi folks,
I have a 2004 stratus rt 3.0L the same engine that they put in the eclipse. It will not start. I cranks like there is no tommarow but it is not even trying to fire. I have checked the mfi relay and both fuel pump relays and they all check good but the pump does not run. I pulled the no 2. fuel pump relay and induced batt voltage to get the fuel pump to run and verified pressure at the fuel rail and return line, but even with the fuel pressure the engine will not start, im out of ideas? So if any one has any ideas im all ears. thanks for you time.

How many miles? Hopefully the timing didnt jump. For annoying things like this, sometimes its best to take it in to the pros.

I have only 81,000 mi on it, and I had the timing belt changed at 60,000. I don't suspect the timing only because the engine is not even trying to start like there is nothing there to burn.

If its getting no fire period try replacing the Crankshaft and Camshaft sensor.

I have the exact same problem, only when I jumper the MFI relay AND the Fuel Pump relay I can get the car to start and run. It just runs poorly.

Did you find a solution?

After replacing the coil pack, cam and crank sensors, plugs and wires, ignition relay, turned out the first thing I replaced, the coil pack, was bad out of the box. Returned it, got a different one.... started right up. Grrrr.
Now on to bigger and better things. Now it doesnt turn over.
Being a Dodge owner is a heavy burden to bear.

Hi I have the same problem with a 01 R/T. Just shut off while driving. No fuel pump but it also wont start of starting fluid. I am getting a spark. This engine still has a distributor so no cam sensor. Could it be the crank sensor? But why would the fuel pump be off? Car has around 70K on it. I also looked at the timing belt looks good but did not verify if it jumped.

I am in the same problem.
My car was running perfect. I unhooked the battery for a day, and when I hooked the batter back up the car would turn over but no spark.
Took to dealer and they said the distributor has gone bad and needed to be replaced.
I bought an OEM Mitsubishi distributor, replaced and my car still will not spark.

Could be crankshaft or camshaft sensor. Id take it somewhere.
