where is the oil pressure switch on 2.7??

Default where is the oil pressure switch on 2.7??

2001 Stratus where is it located on the 2.7, front or back of motor or??

pic I found shows back. My 2.7 Intrepid is on the passenger side but that motor sits different than your car.

Its on the rear of the engine near the tranmission. There should be a shield over the sensor, with 3 15mm bolts. There is also a TSB for the wire connector too.But i will not post it.

Default 2.7L Oil Pressure Switch

Stratus and sebring 2.7L is located on the back of the motor. Easiest access is to remove the passenger side wheel liner (approx 7 push pins) and use air wrachet on the three heat shield bolts. Then remove pressure switch with either open end wrench or the specialty socket. When installing new switch, be sure not to damage the harness connector, apply liquid teflon to the threads, completely dry motor block threads from oil and tighten to 10-12 foot pounds. Reconnect harness, reinstall heat shield and wheel liner and you are good to go.
