Exclamation 2002 Dodge Stratus Engine Tapping

[yt] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6YJHod4tLs [/yt]

This is my sisters car and I bought this and 1 month later I got this noise.
Thsi car just had the oil changed by me 3 days ago and all it did was calm the noise.
I got it jacked up and the sound seems like it is tapping by the exhaust area.

I'm studying to be an auto mechanic and I don't want to start tearing it apart and I just want to see what you guys think it is.

INFO:
2002 Dodge stratus
4 Cylinders X 2.4L SFI DOHC
recent oil change
started a Month ago
Check engine light is on

Just comment Below and help me out

Welcome to DF
The noise could be loose torque converter bolts, or a rod bearing/ wrist pin if the noise is coming from the pan. I would ck the torque converter bolts and if they are tight, then remove the oil pan and inspect the rod bearing.

REMOVAL
Disconnect negative battery cable.
Raise vehicle on hoist and drain engine oil.
Remove structural collar and torque reaction bracket.
Remove bolts attaching oil pan.
Remove oil pan.
Clean oil pan and all gasket surfaces.

And the torque specs for the rod bearings are 20ft pounds plus 1/4 turn. And use new bolts on the connecting rods.

Thanks master tech for your help I just looked on ALLDATA at my college for the oil pan removal and after removal of oil pan I found out that it was just a Rod Bearing. Also my sister took it to a shop and they wanted to charge $250 for it and I did it for only $34.00 for the new oil+filter and some 1500 wet or dry sandpaper to clean the crank shaft and the standard Rod bearing.

You're in auto mechanics program at a college? I can't believe your instructor would have let you "fix" it that way!! A failed rod bearing would require crankshaft reconditioning, rod reconditioning or replacement!! Sand paper on the crank is not an acceptable method of repair. I expect that she'll have another failure in a few thousand miles. I also find it hard to believe you need to ask for step-by-step instructions on removing the pan when you have all that information readily available. What college are you studying automechanics?
