Default 2004 Stratus horn not working

My 2004 Stratus horn is not working. I checked the fuses & they are fine. I even replaced the horn relay & it still will not work. When I press the steering wheel all I hear is a clicking noise. Can anyone give me some advice/help? My thank you in advance!

Welcome to DF
Try to find the horn and run a jumper wire from the battery to the wire for the horn. If it blows the horn is good. If it doesn't the horn is no good.

How about your cruise control..does it work? If not, you might wanna check that ribbon of wires inside that steering column. To get to it you have to removed the steering wheel. It usually gets twisted, folds over, and creates weak/hot spots.. that will usually do it.

Default Horn

The easiest way to reach the horn is to remove the passenger side headlight assembly. Once completely removed you can access the horn.

Try cleaning the contacts for the horn. Its not getting enough power.

If you can hear a clicking noise, that's the relay so obviously the clock spring is working. As the Master said, ever think that maybe the horns themselves have failed?

Thank you all for the quick replies, sorry it's taken me a while to respond. The cruise control does work so I'm going to try the running a jumper to the horn and cleaning the contacts. Hopefully I'll have it working by this weekend.
