Smile 96 Stratus A/T pan bolt torque specs

Need to replace A/T pan (due to hole from rebar) but can't find bolt torque specs on-line. Chilton Manual @ local Lib. is checked out and won't be available for 2-wks. . . would like to finish this today. . .1996 Stratus 2.4 SOHC (my guess is 30-40 in lbs, but would rather NOT guess)

Wish I could help I have a 2000 Stratus and just checked my Chilton manual and it doesn't tell what torque for the trans pan. I think your guess is good. Just check for leaks when your done. I'm sure you already knew that

THANKS Master Tech ~ Also threw in a new filter & gasket. . . which said to tighten to 80 in lbs and then 120 in lbs. ~ that seems to be working fine with no leaks ~ new gasket does NOT require sealer ~ we'll see how that works ~ can always snug-up to 165 in lbs if a drip should appear.
